About

Xiaochan (Luna) Xue is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her research lies at the intersection of wireless communication, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Her group develops trustworthy AI-native wireless systems by bridging physical-layer security, ISAC sensing, and learning at the RAN edge. Recent interests include privacy-preserving and resilient AI-RAN/O-RAN prototyping, defenses against adaptive and generative AI threats, and ToM-inspired network agents for intent-aware multi-stakeholder decision making.

Prospective Students: Want to build something meaningful during your Ph.D.? I am recruiting self-motivated Ph.D. students to start in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and beyond. Please email xxue@hawaii.edu with:
